Bradford Schools Praised

Bradford Schools were praised for their part in the battle against drugs at a ceremony in the city last night.

Eight primary schools and a Pupil Referral Unit were awarded the prestigious Bradford Schools Drug Prevention Initiative Charter Award in front of guests including West Yorkshire Chief Constable Mark Gilmore, Crime Commissioner Mark Burns- Williamson and the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Khadim Hussain.

The Honorary Recorder of Bradford, Roger Thomas QC, Bradford Council’s children’s services director Kath Tunstall with Airedale and North Bradford Divisional Commander Chief Superintendent Angela Williams were also there.
