Evidence required to gain a BSDPI Award

The PDF document below presents a suggested list of evidence a school might want to present when applying for a BSDPI award. The evidence should reflect the work a school already covers within the curriculum and life of the school – there is no need to produce anything additional.

We ask for evidence to be provided in the following ways:

  • In a file/folder
  • During a tour of the school with the assessors
  • In conversation with pupils/ staff/parents and any other stakeholders

The assessors are keen to reiterate that this process is about your pupils, your school and the great work you do to help keep your pupils safe from harmful substances now and in the future.
